Empowering families · Building futures
The LEAPS Autism Foundation opens the door to care, learning, and community for children and families affected by autism across Washington.

Our mission
The LEAPS Autism Foundation was established to expand access to behavioral health services, educational opportunities, and community resources for children and families affected by autism. Through community partnerships, fundraising, outreach, and advocacy, the Foundation seeks to remove barriers to care while creating opportunities for every child to thrive.
What we do
The Foundation funds the support that helps Washington children on the autism spectrum move forward.

Direct help with the cost of care, and scholarships that open therapy, learning, and enrichment to children whose families need a hand.

New programs, educational opportunities, and events that connect autism families with each other and with a community that shows up for them.

Our story
In 1998, Stacey Hotter-Knight met a young boy named Tyler. Watching what the right therapy did for him led her to found LEAPS and Beyond in 2013. The Foundation carries that work to the families who need a hand to reach it.
“At LEAPS, I truly am dedicated to ensuring individuals live their lives to the fullest and reach their maximum potential.”
